Projects
Our goal here at the Amaboko Yapalwa Foundation is to:
1. Establish a solid rapport with the people we are helping in the first place.
2. Make sure that the communities we are serving are positively impacted by our Projects.
3. In a comprehensive manner, shed light on the principles of the Foundation by spreading Love to the community through our F(eed).E(vangelize).E(quip).D(eliver) programs.
Kamatete Project
Kamatete is our initial Project we have identified. Our desire is to fully roll out the F.E.E.D program into this area, thereby, making it our model of every project in the copper-belt.
Learning Centers Dream
We aspire to build these learning centers in regions that are severely under-served by current educational options. The majority of the children in the Kamatete region, ranging in age from 5 to 18, are unable to attend school because of the area's inadequate road network and relative isolation. We have located a suitable plot of land to construct a school, and our "buy a container and educate a child" program offers the most practical and expedited means of doing so. There is a minimum cost of $20,000.00 for a fully equipped container.
The Feeding Project
This is our desire to enlarge the distribution of food parcels to the needy in Kamatete area and other surrounding areas in Kitwe. According to the study, Kitwe is confronted with substantial poverty-related issues. Poverty has grown in the area, and the decline of the mining industry and other economic factors has only made matters worse. Nearly 32% of Zambians have been living in poverty since 2022, with metropolitan regions like Kitwe seeing a sharp increase beyond the national average of 60%. Lack of employment prospects and the effects of global crises like the COVID-19 epidemic are contributing causes (UNDP, World Bank).
Evangelism Project
We want to reach out to children, who are often overlooked, in a comprehensive way, since we believe that evangelism is for all ages. Even though we have always preached to adults, it is especially important to remember that young people also require salvation. Matthew 19:13-15. "13 Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” 15 And He laid His hands on them and departed from there".
The Equip (Skill center) Project
Here at the Amaboko Yapalwa Foundation, we think it's crucial that Christians have all they need to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world. Programs for skill development, education, re-education, and artisan programs are just a few examples of the many that fall under this umbrella. Furthermore, we are receptive to gaining knowledge from the perspectives of others.
The Deliverance Project
Discipleship is emphasized in the message of deliverance. We have the solid belief that being part of a loving community of believers in Jesus Christ, our Messiah, brings about heartfelt relief. As a result, we want to establish a strong discipleship program that includes everyone. alongside the help of our God-given talents as preachers of the gospel, we want to keep walking spiritually alongside Christians, and this is where we are strengthened and our ministry comes in.
